- It is in fact not the problem of the Sportster modem. Original
- Sportster 28800 needs to be upgraded its EPROM before transmitting
- data at the rate of 33.6kbps. Without upgrade, i can only connect up
- to 31600 bps.
- The 'busy while ringing' problem also annoyed me so long that
- I have to add ,,, after each tel. no. It makes the USR modem to ignore
- any incoming signal for seconds.The solution was also announced in the
- newsgroup. It does solve the problem! There is, in fact, no need to
- buy another one.
